Meet the Team

Well, not team…..just me! Baker, cake decorator, social media manager, admin, accounts manager, you name it….it’s me! This means that when you order your cake via Rosie’s Cakes you know that the same person is planning AND creating your order.

Anyway, a bit about me…..From the happiest little place on Earth (well at least according to me and more specifically, my council registered kitchen) I find pure joy in baking and creating sweet memories. I’m based on the North Shore, Auckland, but am able to deliver my custom and quick order cakes across all suburbs of Auckland - Ponsonby, Mt Albert, CBD, Henderson - I’ll just need an address and a contact number!

I offer a range of bespoke and quick order cakes, from tray cakes, just perfect for any occasion, brownie cakes as well as full blown cakes custom made to wow! I am passionate about all things cake and would love to hear what I can do for you!

I started out my baking journey making birthday cakes for my kids. Then, I started begging my friends to let me bake cakes for their kid's birthdays and it went from there! Perhaps there has always been a bit of a love for baking seeing as my Mother used to bake with me as a young child.

Now, I bake cakes for a whole array of events in Auckland, in a range of styles and I love each and every new challenge that is offered to me. I particularly love making 3D cakes and those bright colourful kids ones!

I have been a primary school teacher for many years but I have enjoyed stepping away from that role and in to the cake world where I can get creative! My Father is an artist so he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to colours and my Mother, a cook, provides many tips that support me to bake efficiently, safely and most importantly 'yummily' (I realise that isn't a word but I like it).
